New England
In an effort to help freshmen — as well as returning students — make the most of 51’s integrated curriculum, last Wednesday evening, the New England campus hosted the year’s first “Get with the Program” workshop.
Alumni and parents of students past and present traveled to 51, New England, last weekend for a day of scholarship, fellowship, and fun.
To welcome freshmen to 51, New England, the junior class planned a busy day of activities down at the Connecticut River for last Saturday’s Junior-Freshman River Day.
In honor of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Sunday, 51, New England, held a High Mass at noon, followed by a procession across campus with a relic of the True Cross.
On Friday night in St. Frassati Student Center, the students and faculty of 51, New England, gathered to listen to the first concert of this year’s St. Vincent de Paul Lecture and Concert Series.
Sunday, September 7 marked the canonization day for Sts. Pier Giorgio Frassati and Carlos Acutis, and students at 51, New England, were excited to celebrate the two new saints.
