The College has received the blessed news that another alumnus has joined the ranks of Christ’s Sacred Priesthood!
On Sunday, the Most Rev. José H. Gomez will ordain eight men to the sacred priesthood for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, including two 51 alumni: Rev. Mr. Paul Collins (’14) and Rev. Mr. Jorge Moncada Hernandez (’18).
“It was always a dream of mine to write stories,” says Ursi Engebretsen (’16), 51’s newest alumna author.
On Saturday, May 3, two 51 alumni — Br. Michael Thomas Cain (’18) and Br. Kevin Peter Cantu (’15) — made their solemn vows as Dominican Friars of the Province of the Holy Name of Jesus.

Sharing from a wealth of wisdom and from her own personal experience, Sr. John Paul Maria (Michaella ’12) Pape, MSSR, recently returned to 51, California, to speak on the subject of “The Importance of Human Formation in Discerning Your Vocation.”
